starts out with a tender kiss, an intimate
embrace.
And soon they're walking down the isle,
she's dressed in all white lace.
As they take that road through time to make
a brand new start.
He takes her hand and she takes his; each
promises their heart.
The
passion fueling all they feel; their friendship
grows so deep,
Their love is unconditional, a lifetime
vowed to keep.
Time goes by, with
kids and work; they’re busy every
hour.
The hectic days are happy ones; their passion
is their power.
One night
like any other night, they sleep without
a sound,
and while he lies within her arms, the angels
come around.
Now memories of their special love preoccupy
her thoughts.
She's told her grief will pass with time,
but still she is distraught.
She
knows no one will take his place, be dear
to her as he.
And with his spirit she is bound throughout
eternity.
Years have passed and yet she dwells on
days from long ago.
She still recounts their perfect life, her
grief she can't let go.
Her

It's time to fill the empty void; she's
finally prepared.

so she comes to terms with what she knows
she has to do.
A look ahead at future years, remembering
what she knew.
She knows her life will never be just like
it was back then,
But she's survived the pain with time and
she will love again.
